PRIDE Stars Program

PRIDE Star Program Information 2017-18.jpg

What is PRIDE Stars?

The leadership theme at LFMS this year is “In Service to Others.” And now we have a way for you to help serve others in our community. Do you like to help others? Do you want to earn awards for all of your hard work? Then you should be a PRIDE Star!

PRIDE Stars is a way for all of our Bears to participate in this theme. Research shows that students who are civically engaged at a young age are likely to remain active members of our democracy as adults. The PRIDE  Stars Program is designed to provide you with opportunities to give, help, and serve.

Our PRIDE Stars motto is “Serve with PRIDE, Lead with Confidence, and Inspire Others.” If this sounds like you, then come to the PRIDE Stars Meeting on Tuesday, November 14th during PRIDE Time in the MPR. All students are welcome! Please contact Mrs. Vollebregt if you have any questions.

General Information

The purpose of this annual award is to recognize students who demonstrate outstanding Scholarship, Citizenship and Service.  It is a great way to show off leadership skills and demonstrate Bear Pride for our Las Flores Middle School campus!  Look in the School Info Locker for an informational checklist of requirements to participate in this opportunity.
