As the school year comes to a close, outstanding balances owed to the cafeterias need to be cleared.  Twice each week, parents receive automated phone calls and emails from Food Services to inform them of their students’ negative balances.

These balances can be paid at the school cafeteria or through the online site.  Creating an account with the online vendor (K12 Payment Center) will also allow parents to track their students’ purchases.

Outstanding balances could result in the withholding of diplomas, grades and/or class schedules for next year.

Questions regarding a student’s outstanding balance can be directed to Food and Nutrition at 949-234-9506.

Students are to report at the normal school start time and go to their 1st period class for attendance.  An announcement will be made for all 8th graders to report to the amphitheater.  Any 8th grader not attending Knott's but in attendance at school will report directly to Mrs. Douglas up in the office.

We are scheduled to leave LFMS by 9:30 am and will return between 6 - 6:30 pm.  We are sheduled for pick up a the park at 5:45.

Students should plan on wearing their tie-dyed shirt tomorrow!  Sunscreen and a hat may be a good idea.  Also, plan on bringing money for food.

Students are discouraged from bringing large backpacks, so we can get through the security lines quickly and into the park.

Unless you have made prior arrangements with Mrs. Davis-Johnson, students will not be released early nor stay late at the park.

What is WEB?

Where Everybody Belongs (WEB) is a middle school transition program that welcomes incoming 6th graders and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their middle school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, 8th grade students are trained to be WEB leaders. As positive role models, WEB Leaders are mentors, motivators, leaders, and teachers who guide the 6th graders to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to middle school and help facilitate 6th grade success.

Please complete the application by Wednesday, May 9th.  Any questions? Please see Ms. McDermott or Mrs. Vollebregt, the WEB Advisors.

School Loop is school-specific, so if you are new to the school, and had an account at a different CUSD school, you will still need to register for an account again through the new school’s website.  The link is on the homepage of the school’s website.  You will need your Student Perm ID Number and an email address to complete this process.

School Loop is a different application to the Parent Portal.  It is available to middle and high school level parents and students only.   Parents are encouraged to use both applications.  Please refer to the Guidance webpage FAQ's for answers related to the difference between Parent Portal and School Loop.

The Parent Portal may be accessed at any time during the school year and parent and student accounts only need to be established once as they rollover with updated student data each year. Don’t have a portal account? Contact the school office for your child to request the information needed to create an account.

The Parent Portal is only accessible to parents of students in the current school year.  Information on obtaining transcripts for graduated students may be found on the CUSD website.

Please direct any additional questions to your school office.
