6th Grade Elective Choices

Las Flores Middle School parents and students will use the Parent Portal to register for the 2018-19 Elective Choices. However, we also require a paper elective choice form to be returned with parent and student signatures to confirm your portal selections.  Forms will be provided to all feeder school students on March 6th from their current 5th grade teacher. Students not coming from feeder schools but who are pre-enrolled will be sent forms to their school site via interdistrict mail. Students registering from outside current CUSD schools may obtain a copy from our Registrar beginning March 6th or download a copy of the form from our website (current form will be available March 6th). Each student will be able to choose their first choice plus an alternative elective on the portal.  Your primary choice on the portal should be the same as your 1st choice on the paper form and your alternate on the portal should be the same as your 2nd choice on your paper copy.  The portal choices will override the paper choices if they are not the same so please choose carefully.

Note: All 6th grade students are automatically enrolled in the Fine and Practical Arts Wheel.  If this is your first choice, you will only need to add an alternate choice next to it on the Parent Portal.  If your first choice is one of our music electives, you may delete 'The Wheel' and reselect your first choice and an alternate choice for your 2nd choice. If there is not enough space available, in 'The Wheel', we will use your elective form to place you into your 2nd choice.

The school curriculum guide with course descriptions can be found by clicking here: School Curriculum GuideElective choices to be used for the Portal are as follows:
